I have over fourteen years experience of fundraising, marketing, communication, direct marketing, events organisation, customer service and branding in a variety of roles.
I am a fully certificated member of the Institute of Fundraising, a member of the Charted Institute of Marketing of which I have a Diploma in Marketing, and also hold the Certified Fund-Raising Executive Certificate which is an internationally recognised fundraising credential.
In this time I have set up fundraising and marketing from scratch, basing the fundraising and marketing activity on tailor-made strategies to build up sustainable fundraising income, and marketing sales and promotion, across a variety of areas and organisations. This experience has qualified me to see what has worked, what is useful and what could be built on to give an all round fundraising and marketing knowledge.
I have also written individual fundraising strategies and marketing plans for organisations to support their fundraising and marketing, and supported the process of fundraising until the organisation was able to fundraise on its own.
I am a marketing and charity professional who subscribes to the Codes of Practice of the Institute of Fundraising.
